North Jakarta has 4 Climate Kampung

North Jakarta Administration creates RW 14, Tanjung Priok Urban Village as climate kampung (village). Many preservation programs are established there.
There are four out of 31 urban villages in N. Jakarta already have this program
Wahyu Haryadi, North Jakarta Vice Mayor, said climate village must be added to create area tenacity from calamity and climate. This program is related with environment problem as well as promoting reduce, reuse, recycle.
The indicators are applying healthy life method, energy management, using clean water efficiently, creating food tenacity, and preparing residents facing climate change.
“There are four out of 31 urban villages in N. Jakarta already have this program. Those are RW 14 Tanjung Priok Urban Village, RW 09 Semper Barat, RW 01 Sunter Jaya, and RW 04 Sungai Bambu,” he said, Monday (4/4).
This program is promoted by Jakarta Environment Management Board and coordinating with PT Indonesia Tower’s CSR.
